Second Stage Round 2: Mega BG - Derby 90-76

Everything went according to plan in Beograd where SerbianMega BG beat Montenegrin Derby 90-76 on Monday. Mega BG made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Mega BG outrebounded Derby 46-31 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Savo Drezgic (193-2006, college: Georgia) chipped in 23 points. Nikola Pavlicevic (192-1988) produced 19 points and 5 rebounds and Slovenian point guard Matic Rebec (183-1995, agency: SLN) added 12 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
